I travel a fair amount for my job at Precious Moments, and it never ceases to amaze me how many Precious Moments fans are out there.  In striking up casual conversations with strangers on the road, I have met many people like you that share in their love for our brand.  I've met people in car rental buses, airports, hotels and restaurants who love finding out that I work for this special company. 

Last week I was proofing the holiday catalog while eating dinner at a restaurant, and the waiter noticed the proofs.  "My wife LOVES Precious Moments," he said.  "But I have a young son who has broken a few of them and I need to find replacements for them."  I handed him a new catalog and gave him my business card, but he was concerned because a few of the items he needed to replace were suspended or retired products.  No worries...I told him about the Retired products on our website, and also told him to check out our Facebook page to get in touch with other PM collectors who may be able to help him out.

I'll have to admit, I have never listened to the Jonas Brothers. That may be shocking. It was extremely shocking to my young niece who had come to visit. The Jonas Brothers had a concert near Chicago last week and my niece was bummed that we could not go. As I asked her about their music and what she likes, she looked at me with a very serious look and said "you know they mention Precious Moments in one of their songs". Stunned, I asked her to prove it. Before I could even blink, out came a Jonas Brothers cd. She played "Black Keys" for me and, sure enough, the opening lyrics were:

She walks away colors fade to gray, every precious moments now a waste

While not exactly the Precious Moments reference I was expecting, my niece had proven her point. I joked that the Jonas Brothers must be Precious Moments fans and my niece rolled her eyes and turned up the volume. Oh well.
